Once again, PremierLife.ca, in partnership with Alternate Recreation, Average Royalty, Fourword Thinking, and C U Party bring you one of the premier acts in house music that in my opinion has been flying way under the radar. Sultan & Ned Shepard both hail from my favorite Canadian city, Montreal (go Habs), and are looking to light up London, playing an upcoming show at Cobra for Poison Thursdays . You have the opportunity to join me at one of London’s best clubs to see one of my all-time favorite acts for $5 before 11:30, with the price of entry being raised to $10 for the rest of the night, at that point. As you may have recently experienced the wonders of DJ events one of London’s premier bars, Cobra, PremierLife will whet your newly acquired, insatiable appetite for these shows with another spectacular showing-to-be.
Some of the biggest international artists, of all genres, have been lucky enough to have the tandem of Quebecois remix their work, ranging from Kaskade to Robyn to Lady Gaga to Kerli (that genius who brought us “Walking On Air”). Aside from their remixes, Sultan & Ned Shepard are probably best known for their work with the one and only Nadia Ali, who has been making the rounds of the house scene for the past few years. Songs like “Call My Name,” “Deeper Underground,” “Roads Under Ramallah” and “Crimson Sun” show major potential for a tandem that can hang in for 12 rounds against any of house music’s heavyweights.
This show will be a first come, first serve evening, with the standard $5 entry before 11:30, at which point, prices go up to $10 for the rest of the night.
