While all of my friends in Ivey are locked up for the next 48 hours, I feel like it is necessary to make a bit of their prison sentence a bit enjoyable. Earlier on in the school year, I heard legend of the late-night walks through the halls of the Ivey building, while echoes of Avicii rang through the halls, mimicking the madness ensuing behind those closed doors. In my mind, Ivey was forever changed upon my hearing the legend, instantly becoming “Iveycii,” land of the studious ravers. Having put together a series of playlists for Winter exams, I see it fit to welcome these midterm exams and this treacherous 48 hour report with some songs to appease the mind, body and soul, regardless of your genre of choice.
Starting off, the past while has been huge for house and electronic music, seeing artists like Axwell, Giddy and several others churn out spectacular remixes, while I have come to fall in love with artists like Leventina and Moguai.
