The past year was an amazing year for the film industry! Some of the best comedies, true stories, sci-fictions, and action movies were seen in 2011. Now, who can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store? First, let’s take a look at the top 11 movies of 2011:

1. Bridesmaids

       

Who would you pick to be your perfect maid of honor? This film about a bride and her team of bridesmaids is one of the funniest comedies of 2011. From food poisoning freak-outs to battling friends, I couldn’t get enough of this movie. Melissa McCarthy has to be the most hilarious actresses I have ever seen! 2. Horrible Bosses

Ever hated your boss so much you day-dreamed about killing them? These three friends sure dreamed enough that they try to make it come true. This comedy captures the annoyances in a workplace perfectly and it a guaranteed laugh. Plus who can resist the comedian from Always Sunny In PhiladelphiaCharlie Day. The dynamic trio Charlie Day, Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis are witty, humorous and amazing to watch. Also, no one can resist watching Jennifer Aniston act as a sultry vixen. 3. Friends with Benefits

This spin-off of No Strings Attached definitely makes the top 11 of 2011. With the two hotties Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake going at it, who could possibly hate this movie? Filled with funny moments and weird twists this movie is the perfect balance of sexy and corny. I guarantee its a great film for both sexes to see. 4. X-Men: First Class

If your an X-Men fan than you’ll love this movie. The film guides you through the origins of the characters and how the mutants began. With exciting new mutations seen and crazy effects this movie was a great hit. I especially enjoyed seeing how mystic grew into her cunning yet amazing self. 5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

For all you Harry Potter fanatics, this was the end. The end of an amazing movie and book series and what an unbelievable end it was. This film is filled with constant action and the ever so clever witty remark from various wizards here and there. Watch this movie and be amazed at how dragons seem to come alive and magic becomes a little more wondrous. Plus, you wouldn’t want to miss Harry and Voldemort’s epic battle would you? 6. Limitless

Imagine you had the chance to do anything or be anyone…Would you take it? Watch Bradley Cooper change his life around by taking a little clear pill that allows him to access his entire brain and accomplish anything. The effects in this movie are unbelievable to the point where you feel as if your one the drugs yourself. Amazing acting paired with great film work this movie is a must see. 7. Moneyball

Brad Pitt is amazing in this film. Watch a small baseball team transform on a tiny budget and experience this heartfelt (inspired by a true) story first hand. Besides, you should never miss a movie with Jonah Hill in it—he’s absolutely sensational. Be sure to check out the trailer below.

8. The Help

This film follows a new author, Emma Stone, during the civil rights movement of the 60′s who writes a book dedicated to “the help.” It details the African-American maid’s point of view. This is Emma Stone like you’ve never seen her before. This movie is cute, funny and extremely heartfelt. It captures an amazing story and is a must seen of 2011. Watch the trailer below.

9. 50/50

Based on a true story, this movie follows the journey of a young man diagnosed with cancer. He has a 50/50 chance of survival. This is a great comedy that shows the beauty of everyday life. Starring comedians Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen this movie is said to find humor in the most unlikely of places. This movie is filled with laughs and a great friendship—a definite must see movie. Check out the trailer below.

10. Mission Impossible 4

The Mission Impossible movies never get old. The fourth in the series keeps you on your toes and keeps you laughing the whole way through. The film is a perfect mix of action and humor. 11. Justin Bieber Movie

This movie just had to be included. If you were a Justin Bieber hater before, you definitely left this movie with some serious respect for the young talent.
