As we all know, Canada is full of beautiful and successful women (probably all UWO grads) so it is about time we got our own show. Women are going to be thrilled to see what kind of bachelors we have to offer, and this lucky man will experience the ultimate dream (and impressive ratio…Hello 25:1!). The show will consist of 9 episodes, and Canada is doing a nationwide search now for potential bachelorettes. You can find all the information at Citytv.com/BachelorCanada. Aside from the rose-hungry bachelorettes the Bachelor Canada is looking for the perfect bachelor pad to house 1 bachelor and his 25 bachelorettes. As the Toronto Star reports, “Must haves: circular driveway for romantic, usually cringe-inducing meet-and-greets. Massive living room for nail-biting rose ceremonies. Giant hot tub for ratings-friendly bikini scenes.”

For those of you who are skeptical about finding true love on TV, remember that this is the 21st century people! If Octomom can have octuplets then why can’t one find true love on a dating reality show? Maybe we will even see dramatic moments like season 13 when Jason Mesnick gave out a ring, but chose the wrong girl (idiot!) as millions watched him backtrack giving it to another girl (NBD). Get excited to see what the Bachelor Canada has to offer!
